The 2025 edition of the Easter car boot sale in Saint-Martin-Valmeroux was held on Sunday, April 20th, in the streets of the medieval village. On Sunday, April 20, 2025, the medieval streets of Saint-Martin-Valmeroux came alive for the traditional Easter car boot sale, the first event of the flea market season in Cantal. From 6 am, private exhibitors took over Rue des Gantiers and Rue de l'Église, guided by the volunteer spotters from the association Saint Martin VLX.
The free pitches encouraged diverse participation, mixing car boot sale regulars and first-time sellers. Early morning bargain hunters found great finds in the picturesque village setting, amidst half-timbered houses and stone facades. This spring edition confirmed the success of this annual event that opens the season in the Maronne valley.
