Initiated and supported by the association L'École du Chat de l'Aube, this annual event brings together private sellers and bargain hunters for two days of treasure hunting dedicated to a deeply local animal cause.

L'École du Chat de l'Aube, a committed association

Founded by passionate volunteers, L'École du Chat de l'Aube has been working for several years to protect stray and semi-wild cats in the Aube department. Sterilization, veterinary care, fostering, and adoption assistance are at the heart of its action. The Easter Car Boot Sale is the association's flagship event: all proceeds generated by the association's own stand - tableware, trinkets, small furniture, and various items - are directly donated to fund sterilization operations and rescue for felines in distress.

Two days of bargains in a friendly setting

The multi-purpose hall on the allée du Château des Cours is transformed into a vast organized treasure hunting space for the Easter weekend. Sellers, exclusively private individuals, offer an eclectic selection of attic treasures: antique tableware and quality glassware, small furniture and vintage pieces, paintings and prints, toys and books, vintage items, and collectibles. All in a warm atmosphere that contrasts with large, anonymous street sales.

The association also runs a well-stocked stand, supplied throughout the year by donations from individuals who care about the feline cause. Every purchase made at this stand directly contributes to funding the sterilization and care of cats supported by the volunteers.
