As the end-of-year holidays approach, Saint-Benoît-sur-Loire dons its finest attire to host its annual Christmas Market. Organized by the Festival Committee, this event takes place over two days at the Espace Robert Souesme, combining an artisanal Christmas market, a car boot sale, entertainment, and gastronomy.

A festive weekend in two parts

The weekend program is rich and varied. Saturday afternoon (2 p.m. - 6 p.m.) kicks off the festivities, followed by an evening dance meal with an orchestra, a much-appreciated local festive tradition. On Sunday (10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.), the Espace Robert Souesme opens its doors wide for a full day of Christmas market and car boot sale.

Exhibitors, between 50 and 100 participants combining artisans and individuals, benefit from a comfortable indoor setting. The pitch fee is €8 per meter, with tables and chairs provided. Electrical outlets and display grids are available by reservation. Priority is given to artisans during registration. Exhibitors arrive from 9 a.m. on Saturday.

The Espace Robert Souesme, a cultural facility

The Espace Robert Souesme, located at 15 route de Saint-Aignan in Saint-Benoît-sur-Loire, is the town's cultural and leisure facility. Combining a gymnasium and a multi-purpose hall, it offers a spacious and suitable indoor area to welcome exhibitors and visitors during the Christmas Market. The hall is heated, which is appreciated in December.
