Deux-Rivières May Day Car Boot Sale — 2025 Edition
On Thursday 1 May 2025, the Cravant Fire Brigade once again orchestrated their grand annual car boot sale in Deux-Rivières. Over 300 sellers took their places along the 1,200 linear metres of the signposted route through the village, offering the many visitors an extraordinary variety of items. The festive atmosphere of May Day — both a public holiday and a popular celebration — helped attract many families who came to enjoy the day off by bargain hunting along the banks of the Yonne. The fire brigade organisers provided on-site catering, adding further to the conviviality of this emblematic Auxerrois day.
