About Congis Toys

Congis Toys is the unmissable annual event for antique toy enthusiasts in Seine-et-Marne. Organized by AS Saint-Rémi for more than two decades, this fair brings together every January about thirty specialized exhibitors at the village hall of Congis-sur-Thérouanne. Dinky Toys, Solido, Märklin, vintage Barbie, tin toys, and figurines rub shoulders with books and documentation for the delight of collectors.

Congis Toys: more than two decades of passion for antique toys

The Antique Toy Fair of Congis-sur-Thérouanne, dubbed Congis Toys by regulars, is one of the benchmark events for Île-de-France collectors of vintage toys. Organized by the AS Saint-Rémi association for more than twenty-three years, the fair is in its 24th edition in January 2026, proof of remarkable longevity that testifies to the loyalty of the public and the constant quality of the event. About thirty professional and amateur exhibitors meet there each year to offer the best of antique and collectible toys.

A complete panorama of yesterday's toys

Congis Toys embraces the entire universe of antique toys. Small car enthusiasts find vintage Dinky Toys, Norev, Majorette, and Solido, with their original boxes for the most sought-after pieces. Model train enthusiasts stroll among Märklin, Jouef, Hornby, or Jep. Doll fans discover Barbies from the 60s to the 90s, Bella, Raynal, and Petitcollin dolls, as well as their wardrobe and accessories. Lithographed tin toys, lead soldiers, Starlux figurines, old board games, plush toys, musical toys, and illustrated books complete an offering of exceptional richness.

A welcoming venue for a family event

The fair takes place at the village hall of Congis-sur-Thérouanne, 20 rue de la Poste, opposite the town hall. This heated hall, equipped with free parking and accessible to people with reduced mobility, offers the best reception conditions for exhibitors and visitors. The atmosphere is both friendly and passionate, typical of collector fairs where exchanges between connoisseurs are as precious as the rare pieces unearthed. Admission is only 2 euros, and free for children under 15, which makes it a family event par excellence.

AS Saint-Rémi, faithful organizer

The Saint-Rémi Sports Association (AS Saint-Rémi) is the associative pillar of Congis-sur-Thérouanne. Since the first edition in 2003, it has made Congis Toys an anticipated and respected event in the collector community. The profits from the fair contribute to the financing of the association's sports activities, in a spirit of solidarity and exemplary volunteer commitment. The consistency of the organization over nearly a quarter of a century is a performance that deserves to be saluted.

Congis-sur-Thérouanne, a Brie village by the Ourcq

Congis-sur-Thérouanne is a charming village of around 1,200 inhabitants located in the Pays de l'Ourcq, in the northeast of Seine-et-Marne. Crossed by the Ourcq canal and close to the confluence with the Marne, the village offers a green and peaceful setting. Its church, old houses, and rural heritage invite you to stroll after visiting the fair. Nearby, Meaux and its cathedral, the Museum of the Great War, or La Ferté-sous-Jouarre complement the tourist interest of the territory.

An event for insiders and curious people

Congis Toys is not only for savvy collectors. Parents and grandparents who want to find the toys of their childhood, neophytes curious to discover the universe of collection, lovers of vintage objects for decoration all find their happiness there. The fair is also a wonderful opportunity to pass on to young generations the material memory of play, very different from today's digital universes. Children discover with wonder the toys of their parents or grandparents.
