Collioure Antique Dealers and Flea Market Sunday

An antique market in the heart of the birthplace of Fauvism

Every month, professional antique dealers and second-hand traders from Roussillon meet in Collioure for the famous Antique Dealers Sunday. Set up on the Boulevard Beramar, by the sea facing the royal castle, this market brings together a demanding selection of exhibitors: antique furniture, paintings and engravings, Catalan ceramics and earthenware, religious art objects, antique jewelry, watches, silverware, old books, 20th century decorative arts and curiosities.

Collioure, village of painters and fishermen

Immortalized by Henri Matisse and André Derain who stayed there together in the summer of 1905 and gave birth to Fauvism, Collioure is one of the most famous villages on the Mediterranean. Its picturesque fishing port, the Romanesque bell tower of Notre-Dame-des-Anges standing in the water, its 13th-century royal castle, its Catalan alleys and its traditional boats make it an exceptional destination. Picasso, Braque, Dufy, Chagall and Foujita were all inspired by the unique light of this place.
