The 8 May 2025 flea market in Cheny brought the village centre streets to life, bringing together Jovinien sellers and visitors for this traditional spring day of bargain hunting.

On Thursday 8 May 2025, the streets of Cheny regained their annual animation with the village flea market. Private sellers from the Jovinien and visitors from neighbouring communes gathered in the town centre streets for a morning of bargains and conviviality.

Furniture, crockery, clothing, books and various objects changed hands throughout the day, in the relaxed and warm atmosphere characteristic of rural flea markets in the Yonne.
