From March to November 2025, the Charix Flea Market welcomed bargain hunters from Haut-Bugey every Sunday and public holiday at the Moulin de Charix. Set up in the parking lot on the edge of the national road 1084, vendors offered crockery, trinkets, clothes, tools, books, toys, and various objects in the purest tradition of a country flea market.
Without reservation or formalities, this early Sunday gathering attracted bargain lovers who came to enjoy the exceptional mountain setting of Charix, a village nestled at over 800 meters altitude between fir forests and meadows, near Lake Genin, nicknamed "Little Canada".
The Charix Flea Market will resume for the 2026 season starting March 1st, every Sunday and public holiday from 7 am to 1 pm.
