Annual car boot sale organized by the Association des Chasses de Chamesson, village square
Every summer, the village square of Chamesson transforms into a lively treasure hunting space, initiated by the Association des Chasses de Chamesson. This annual car boot sale brings together exhibitors and bargain hunters in a friendly atmosphere, typical of the small villages of the Châtillonnais in Côte-d'Or.
Chamesson is a picturesque village in the upper Seine valley, a few kilometers from Châtillon-sur-Seine. Crossed by the still-young river, the village offers a green and relaxing setting for a morning of treasure hunting. The village square, lined with stone houses, hosts stalls where trinkets, crockery, clothes, toys, and all sorts of flea market items are found side by side.
One of the advantages of this car boot sale is the free pitches for exhibitors, a rare benefit that encourages participation. Volunteers from the association provide refreshments and food throughout the day, while visitors enjoy free entry to browse among the stands.
