Bargain hunting at the boulodrome in the Quercy blanc
Cazes-Mondenard is a vast commune of 5,800 hectares located on the border with Lot, halfway between Montauban and Cahors. This village of the Quercy blanc charms with its preserved rural setting: orchards, vineyards, hamlets, white-stone farmhouses typical of the region and gentle hills.
A feature appreciated by bargain hunters: the Cazes-Mondenard flea market hosts both private individuals and professional antique dealers. This mix enriches the display, combining classic flea market bric-a-brac (crockery, clothing, toys, books) with finer antique offerings (old furniture, Quercy faience, vinyl records, lighting, mirrors, paintings, militaria, old papers).
The Cazes-Mondenard boulodrome offers a pleasant shaded setting, ideal for an outdoor morning of bargain hunting. Exhibitors set up around the field, with parking close by.
The mix of private and professional allows for varied finds: 1980s comics, forgotten plush toys, marble clocks, Quercy faience services, restored Voltaire armchairs, old farming tools or boxed silver cutlery.
Cazes-Mondenard is an excellent gateway to the Tarn-et-Garonne Quercy blanc. 7 km away, do not miss Lauzerte, classified among the Most Beautiful Villages of France.
