The 2025 edition of the late-August Castres flea market closed the Tarn summer bargain-hunting season. Locals and passing visitors enjoyed a fine pre-school-term morning, in the quiet, colourful atmosphere of late summer in Castres. Many private sellers, family ambiance in the Tarn sub-prefecture.

2025 Edition Review
The 2025 late-August Castres flea market took place in pleasant summer conditions. Sellers, mostly private, offered varied bric-a-brac suited to the period: toys, clothing, school items, sports gear, crockery, small furniture and decorations.
The event drew a mixed public: weekenders, tourists at the end of their Tarn holiday, families preparing the new school year. In the lively town centre streets, the late-summer atmosphere gave the event its distinctive flavour.
The 2026 edition is announced for Sunday 30 August, continuing this season-closing tradition dear to South-Tarn bargain-hunters.
