The car boot sale of Sigoulès-et-Flaugeac: treasure hunting in the land of vines

Every year in June, the commune of Sigoulès-et-Flaugeac organizes a car boot sale that attracts treasure hunters from the Bergeracois region and the Périgord Pourpre. This renowned wine-growing area, located between Bergerac and Eymet, produces Bergerac and Monbazillac appellation white and red wines, in a landscape of rolling hills and vineyards.

Organization and prices

Exhibitors can book 3-meter by 2-meter pitches for 6 euros per pitch. Parking the vehicle near the stand is offered for an additional 1 euro. Set up begins at 6 am, and the car boot sale is open to visitors from 8 am to 5:30 pm.

A commune born from the merger of two villages

Sigoulès-et-Flaugeac is a new commune created in 2019 from the merger of Sigoulès and Flaugeac. This regrouping has strengthened community life and local events, of which the car boot sale is one of the highlights. The village retains the typical charm of Périgord Pourpre villages, with its stone houses and panoramic views of the surrounding vineyards.
