Car Boot Sales of the Quilles Sport of Saint-Geniez-d'Olt

On Easter Monday 2025, Saint-Geniez-d'Olt-et-d'Aubrac hosted a new edition of its traditional Car Boot Sales of the Quilles Sport. Organized by the local eight-pin bowling club, this spring event took over the three usual sites in the historic center: the Place du Général de Gaulle, the cloister of the Augustins — a remarkable 14th-century building — and the Cours Haut overlooking the Lot valley.

Throughout the day, bargain hunters browsed the stalls run by individuals from Saint-Geniez-d'Olt and surrounding towns. The offerings were varied and typical of Aveyronnais car boot sales: regional tableware and ceramics, old books and comics, clothing for the whole family, toys and board games, gardening tools, furniture, and decorative trinkets. Lovers of local pieces could find items related to the heritage of Aubrac and the upper Lot valley.
