The Car Boot Sales of Lanmeur – Two annual events in the Morlaix region

Lanmeur (29620) is a market town in the Morlaix region, in northern Finistère, known for its remarkable Merovingian cemetery and its 6th-century crypt. The town organizes two car boot sales each year that punctuate local life: one in August, the other in October.

The summer car boot sale is held at the École Notre Dame de Kernitron and brings together around 95 exhibitors. It is one of the largest in the town, taking advantage of the summer influx to offer visitors a wide variety of items: clothing, antique furniture, tableware, books, toys, vinyl records, and collectibles of all kinds.

The autumn car boot sale at Salle Steredenn

In October, the Salle Steredenn hosts the autumn car boot sale, with around thirty exhibitors. More intimate than its summer counterpart, this event offers a warm atmosphere conducive to relaxed treasure hunting. The items offered are as varied as the exhibitors' imaginations: clothing for the whole family, decorations, trinkets, tableware, books, and small furniture.

The October 2024 car boot sale was scheduled for Sunday, October 20, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with an entrance fee of €1. Refreshments and light snacks were available on site to accompany the day.
