On Sunday, September 7, 2025, the Lavoir de la Villeneuve in Bonny-sur-Loire hosted its traditional back-to-school car boot sale. In this green setting by the Cheuille river, private exhibitors, artisans, and local traders enlivened a day full of discoveries and conviviality.
From 6:30 in the morning, the stalls were set up under the trees, offering a wide variety of second-hand items, crafts, and local products. Visitors enjoyed a full day of treasure hunting and entertainment until 6 pm.
The program of festivities included: pony rides for children, a raffle with many prizes, and open-air concerts with the Harmonie de Bonny-sur-Loire and the group Bien Aller Briarois. The drinks stand and catering completed this beautiful late summer day by the water.
The event is scheduled to return on the first Sunday of September 2026.
