Every first Saturday of the month, the Place de l'Église in Conflans-en-Jarnisy transforms into a vast open-air flea market. Located at the foot of the war memorial, on rue René Descartes, this event brings together up to 200 exhibitors and attracts many early morning bargain hunters from the Briey basin and the Jarnisy region.
The Conflans-en-Jarnisy car boot sale is primarily a morning event. Exhibitors can set up from 5:30 am, and the market is in full swing until noon. Registration is done directly on-site from 6 am, at a rate of €5 for a 4-meter linear pitch. This flexible and accessible formula attracts both regular and occasional sellers, who offer a varied assortment of second-hand items.
A refreshment stand is available on-site, offering coffee, cold drinks, sandwiches, and pastries. This catering area contributes to the friendly atmosphere of the car boot sale and allows bargain hunters to take their time browsing the stalls while enjoying refreshments. The atmosphere is relaxed, conducive to exchanges between sellers and buyers.
