The Clermont-le-Fort Car Boot Sale

Every first Sunday of June, the Clermont-le-Fort Festival Committee organizes a car boot sale in this picturesque village perched on the hills overlooking the Ariège valley. This annual event brings together exhibitors and bargain hunters in an exceptional setting, offering beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and the Pyrenean peaks on clear days.

A Perched Village with Unique Character

Clermont-le-Fort is a small commune in Haute-Garonne located about 20 km south of Toulouse, known for its elevated position on a rocky spur overlooking the confluence of the Ariège and Garonne rivers. The village, with its picturesque streets, its pink brick houses typical of the Toulouse region, and its remarkable built heritage, is a popular place for walks for Toulousains and hikers. The car boot sale allows you to discover this remarkable setting while browsing among the stalls of clothes, toys, trinkets, tableware, and everyday objects offered by individuals in the streets and squares of the perched village.

Registration Procedures

Registration is mandatory for exhibitors and must be validated after sending payment and documents, either online or by mail to the Comité des Fêtes, 18 Le Fort, 31810 Clermont-le-Fort, or by dropping them off at the town hall. The site opens to exhibitors from 6 am for setup, until 7:30 am. Visitors are then welcomed from 8 am to 6 pm.

Producers' Market

The car boot sale is often accompanied by a local producers' market, allowing visitors to discover the flavors of the Ariège valley and Haute-Garonne. A refreshment stand is also provided on-site by the volunteers of the Festival Committee. Admission is free for all visitors.
