Volvic perpetuates the tradition of autumn fairs with this event that takes over the Grande Rue of the town. The car boot sale accompanies this seasonal fair, offering visitors the opportunity to hunt for treasures while enjoying the entertainment and local products offered by traders and producers.
Grande Rue in Celebration
The Grande Rue of Volvic, lined with lava stone facades characteristic of Auvergne architecture, transforms for a day into a vast open-air flea market. Auvergne autumn, with its flamboyant colors on the slopes of the neighboring volcanoes, offers a remarkable seasonal setting.
Volvic Autumn Fair — edition 2026
The Volvic Autumn Fair flea market is held every year at the end of September in the town center, along the Grande Rue. An unmissable event for the back-to-school season in Puy-de-Dôme, it brings together around fifty private exhibitors and combines a flea market, fair, and entertainment throughout the day.
Estimated 2026 date (the last Sunday of September, in accordance with previous editions); exact date to be confirmed with Volvic town hall or the festival committee.
Organized by the Volvic festival committee in partnership with the municipality, the Autumn Fair flea market takes over the Grande Rue and the town center of Volvic (63530). Bargain hunters will find second-hand items of all kinds offered by private exhibitors, in a friendly autumn fair atmosphere.
Recent editions were held on Sunday, October 1st, 2023, Sunday, September 29th, 2024, and Sunday, September 21st, 2025, from 9 AM to 7 PM. The 2026 edition should follow the same schedule, at the end of September.
