Car boot sale and vintage vehicle exhibition in Tizac-de-Curton, in the Entre-deux-Mers region of Gironde
Each spring, the village of Tizac-de-Curton (33420) hosts an original event that combines a car boot sale and a vintage vehicle exhibition. Private sellers offer a wide variety of second-hand items – clothes, toys, books, crockery, trinkets, small furniture – while collectors display their vintage cars, motorcycles, and vehicles. This dual program attracts a diverse audience and creates a festive atmosphere in the village.
Tizac-de-Curton is a commune of about 400 inhabitants located in the heart of the Entre-deux-Mers, between Branne and Targon. The village, perched on a hillside, is surrounded by vineyards of Bordeaux and Entre-deux-Mers appellations. Its wine routes, Romanesque church, and panoramas of the Dordogne valley make it a typical village of this hilly region. The small size of the commune enhances the friendly and authentic character of its car boot sale.
The vintage vehicle exhibition is a major asset of this car boot sale, attracting enthusiasts of classic cars, vintage motorcycles, and old utility vehicles. Owners proudly display their restored vehicles, offering visitors a journey back in time. Admission is free for both events.
From Bordeaux, take the D936 towards Créon, then towards Branne and Tizac-de-Curton. Approximately 40 km east of Bordeaux.
