Car boot sale in the Village of Lenne

In July 2025, the Car boot sale in the Village of Lenne took over the alleys and outdoor spaces of the hamlet of Lenne, in the commune of Saint-Martin-de-Lenne. This small summer car boot sale brought together villagers and visitors from neighboring towns for a day of bargain hunting under the Aveyron sun, at an altitude of 660 meters on the causse.

The stalls offered the classic variety of rural car boot sales in Aveyron: antique tableware and kitchen items, clothing and linens, toys and games for children, books and magazines, garden tools, small furniture, and decorative trinkets. The former convent of the hamlet and the nearby small church provided a unique heritage backdrop for this day of good deals.

Visitors could extend their exploration by taking the Stations of the Cross path that leads up to the Capelette de Lenne, an oratory perched on the causse with panoramic views of the hamlet and the surrounding valleys. The proximity to Saint-Geniez-d'Olt and the Lot valley allowed bargain hunters to combine their visit to the car boot sale with a tourist excursion in this preserved corner of Aveyron.
