The car boot sale of the Vieilles Bielles de Donnezac

Every year at the end of May, the association Les Vieilles Bielles de Donnezac organizes an original two-day event: a car boot sale combined with a vintage vehicle gathering. Private exhibitors offer clothes, toys, books, tableware, trinkets, and various objects, while mechanics enthusiasts exhibit vintage cars, vintage motorcycles, vintage tractors, and military vehicles. This unique combination makes this weekend a popular event in the north of Gironde.

Donnezac, village of the Blayais

Donnezac is a small village of about 700 inhabitants located in the Blayais, north of Gironde, a few kilometers from Saint-Savin. The rural and wine-growing commune covers a territory of hills and valleys planted with vines under the Blaye - Côtes de Bordeaux appellation. The landscape is characteristic of the Blayais, with its pale stone houses, vineyards, and small woods. Donnezac benefits from a dynamic associative life, notably driven by Les Vieilles Bielles.

Two days of treasure hunting and vintage mechanics
