In March 2025, the Albert Jacquard schoolyard hosted the traditional Sou des Écoles car boot sale. Monistrol families turned out to participate in this friendly event, the proceeds of which are donated to the parents' association.

Children's clothing, toys, school books, and board games naturally dominated the stalls, but adults also had the opportunity to offer their second-hand items. Good humor and a family atmosphere characterized this spring morning, the first treasure hunting event of the year in Monistrol-sur-Loire.
