Review of the 2025 edition
On Sunday, June 8, 2025, the Mont Joli stadium in Saline hosted the annual car boot sale organized by the Amicale des Sapeurs-Pompiers de Troarn. Under the Norman sun, private exhibitors displayed their treasures on the grassy field of the stadium: clothes, toys, books, crockery, trinkets, and attic curiosities.
The friendly and rural atmosphere of this village car boot sale charmed treasure hunters from the Caen plain and Pays d'Auge. The refreshment stand and catering — homemade fries, merguez, and sausages — allowed visitors to pleasantly extend their morning. Free admission and the bucolic setting of Saline contributed to the success of this edition.
The next edition is expected in June 2026 at the Mont Joli stadium.
