The RCMI car boot sale: treasure hunting at Alban Moga stadium

The Rugby Club Martignas-Illac (RCMI) organizes a large car boot sale every year in April at the Alban Moga stadium, located on avenue de Lattre de Tassigny in Martignas-sur-Jalle (33127). This popular event brings together dozens of sellers—private individuals and collectors—in the large car park of the sports complex. Visitors can find clothing, toys, books, crockery, trinkets, sports equipment, tools, and decorative items.

An event to benefit Martignas rugby

The profits from the car boot sale help the RCMI finance its sports activities, purchase equipment, and cover team travel costs. Stall fees are €12 for 3 meters, €20 for 5 meters, and €35 for 10 meters. Registration sessions are held at the stadium on Saturdays preceding the event, from 10 am to 12 pm. The refreshment stand and snack bar, run by club players and volunteers, offer grills, sandwiches, and drinks throughout the day.
