Car boot sale of the Right Bank of Saint-Geniez-d'Olt

On Sunday, August 3, 2025, the old quarters on the right bank of Saint-Geniez-d'Olt-et-d'Aubrac hosted a new edition of the Right Bank Car Boot Sale, organized by the Comité des Fêtes de la Rive Droite. This summer event was part of the program for the Right Bank Festival, a festive weekend animating the historic districts on either side of the Pont Vieux for nearly a century.

Throughout the day, approximately 70 exhibitors set up their stalls in the alleys and small squares of the right bank, offering treasure hunters a wide variety of items: tableware and ceramics, old books, clothing and accessories, toys, trinkets and decorative objects, gardening tools, and curiosities of all kinds. The friendly and family atmosphere attracted many visitors who came to enjoy this treasure hunting day by the Lot river.

The day's program also included the traditional 'jeu de la cruche' from 11 a.m., activities for children, a serenade to the inhabitants, and, as the highlight of the festival, a grand meal under a marquee by the Lot followed by a spectacular fireworks display at nightfall, considered one of the most remarkable in Aveyron.
