The car boot sale of the Purple Garlic Festival of Cadours was held on Sunday, August 31, 2025, in the streets of the Gascon village. The streets of Cadours hosted the annual car boot sale of the Purple Garlic Festival on Sunday, August 31, 2025. From 8 am, private sellers offered their second-hand items to early morning bargain hunters from Savès and the Toulouse agglomeration. The association Lectures et Découvertes ensured the organization of this flea market aspect of the festivities dedicated to Cadours PDO purple garlic.
All around the car boot sale, the Purple Garlic Festival's entertainment was in full swing: a producers' market, purple garlic tastings, cooking competitions, and musical entertainment created a unique atmosphere combining treasure hunting and Gascon terroir. Thousands of visitors took advantage of this festive weekend to discover or rediscover the gastronomic heritage of Cadours.
The car boot sale of the Purple Garlic Festival will return at the end of August 2026 in Cadours, for a new edition in the heart of Toulouse Gascogne.
