In July, Place Saint-Caprais in Prunières hosts its summer car boot sale. This square, whose name recalls the village's patron saint, is the geographical and social heart of this rural commune in Lozère.

The square, well-exposed and easily accessible, brings together locals and summer visitors in July in this preserved region at the gates of the Truyère lake.

Prunières (48200) is a commune in Lozère in the sector of Saint-Chély-d'Apcher, in Margeride. The granite village, typical of this high-altitude plateau, benefits from its proximity to the Truyère lake, an EDF reservoir with spectacular landscapes, and to the Margeride alpine pastures where Aubrac cows are raised.
