The great spring flea market at the woodland crossroads
In the heart of the Carnelle forest, in the north of Val-d'Oise, the village of Baillet-en-France (95560) transforms into an open-air market every first Sunday of May. The Town Hall of Baillet-en-France has been organising this annual outdoor flea market for several years, set up at the woodland crossroads on Rue de Bouffémont — a natural setting that adds a unique charm to the event.
Between 100 and 200 private sellers line the park surroundings offering garden furniture, clothing, books, toys, crockery and everyday objects. Residents benefit from preferential rates (€35 for 5 m²), while sellers from outside the commune pay €45 for the same space. Professionals are welcome at €80 for 5 m².
By car from Montsoult or Bouffémont via the D909. Parking nearby. By public transport from Montsoult-Maffliers station (Transilien line H), approx. 4 km away.
