Car boot sale of Preixan

In August 2025, Preixan held its annual car boot sale in the village center, bringing the summer to a beautiful close in this rural village in the Aude valley. Private sellers offered a wide variety of second-hand items, attracting residents of Preixan and neighboring towns.

The volunteers' refreshment stand helped maintain the festive atmosphere throughout the day, in the heat of late August in the Aude. Visitors appreciated the authentic atmosphere of this human-sized car boot sale, far from the tourist bustle of the nearby medieval city.
