Every last weekend of September, the Twinning Committee Preignan — Corral de Calatrava organizes its annual car boot sale around the Maison du Temps Libre in Preignan. This popular event, driven by the spirit of exchange and solidarity that animates the Franco-Spanish twinning, attracts many visitors from Preignan and neighboring towns in the Gers.

A Car Boot Sale in the Heart of Preignan

Set up around the Maison du Temps Libre, private sellers offer a varied range of items: clothes, toys, books, crockery, trinkets, small furniture, and everyday treasures. Entry is free for visitors, who can browse freely from 8 am to 6 pm in a relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere. Sellers can obtain the internal regulations and a registration form at the town hall.

Refreshments, Food, and Friendliness

The Twinning Committee offers refreshments and food service on site throughout the day. It's an opportunity to gather over a drink or a meal, in the spirit of friendliness that characterizes the associative events of the Gers. The funds raised contribute to financing cultural exchanges between Preignan and its Spanish twin town of Corral de Calatrava, in the province of Ciudad Real.
