Edition 2025 — Car boot sale Essoyes
The 2025 edition of the Essoyes Car Boot Sale was held in May in this Champagne village in the Ource valley, homeland of the painter Renoir. Private sellers and visitors animated the village streets for a spring treasure hunt day in an exceptional natural and heritage setting.

In May 2025, the village of Essoyes, famous for its connection to the painter Auguste Renoir, hosted its annual car boot sale. The village streets were enlivened by the stalls of private sellers offering a wide variety of second-hand items to bargain hunters from all over the Aube department.
The exceptional setting of the Ource valley, with its flowery meadows and spring vineyards, contributed to the appeal of this day. Furniture, tableware, books, clothes, and trinkets found buyers among the many visitors. The refreshment stand run by volunteers allowed for extended conversations in a warm atmosphere.
