Annual car boot sale in Montrond-le-Château, in the Loue valley
Montrond-le-Château is a village of 566 inhabitants located a few kilometers from Ornans, in the magnificent Loue valley that Gustave Courbet immortalized in his paintings. At 47 meters above sea level with the town hall 6 km from Ornans, this village benefits from an exceptional natural setting that gives its annual car boot sale a special atmosphere, between Franche-Comté rurality and picturesque landscapes.
Exhibitors particularly appreciate the possibility of bringing their vehicle next to their pitch to facilitate unloading and reloading, provided they take a pitch of at least 6 meters. This logistical flexibility is rare in the region's car boot sales and is a real asset for participants.
The Loue valley, a natural jewel of the Doubs, is one of the most beautiful valleys in Franche-Comté. Nestled between limestone cliffs covered with forests, it offers spectacular landscapes that have inspired many artists. Ornans, Gustave Courbet's hometown, is the center of this valley and offers many museums and cultural activities that visitors to the car boot sale can combine with their visit.
Montrond-le-Château benefits from this proximity to Ornans while retaining its authentic village identity. Its agricultural and artisanal fabric contributes to the preserved rural atmosphere of this part of the valley.
Exhibitor rate: €3/m minimum. Possibility of bringing your vehicle next to the pitch (minimum 6 meters required). Information from the Montrond-le-Château town hall.

Registration is done with the organizing Art floral section. Pitch fee: 3 €/linear meter, with a minimum of 2 meters. If you wish to park your vehicle next to your stand, you must reserve at least 6 linear meters. Coffee is offered to exhibitors upon setup.
