Montfaucon-d'Argonne, a place of remembrance

Montfaucon-d'Argonne is a village deeply marked by the First World War. Its imposing American monument, a 57-meter column topped by a Statue of Liberty, commemorates the Meuse-Argonne offensive of 1918. Visible for miles, it recalls the sacrifice of American troops during this decisive battle. The old village, destroyed during the fighting, was rebuilt a few hundred meters from its original location.

Attractive prices for everyone

The car boot sale stands out for its very accessible prices: 2 euros for 10 meters for non-residents, and free for village inhabitants. This policy encourages local participation and creates an authentic village atmosphere.
