Every year in June, the Place du Pré Saint-Louis in Le Bugue transforms into a vast open-air flea market. This popular car boot sale brings together individuals and bargain hunters in a relaxed atmosphere, on the banks of the Vézère, in one of the liveliest towns in Périgord Noir.

A Generous Bargain Hunting Space at Pré Saint-Louis

The Place du Pré Saint-Louis offers a spacious and shaded setting, ideal for hosting dozens of exhibitors who offer their everyday items: crockery, trinkets, clothing, books, toys, small furniture, tools, and various curiosities. Pitches are offered at €2 per linear meter, making the event accessible to all occasional sellers.

Le Bugue, a Lively Village in the Vézère Valley

A town of over 2,700 inhabitants, Le Bugue is located at the confluence of the Vézère and the Ladoue, about fifteen kilometers from Les Eyzies-de-Tayac. The town benefits from a prime location, between UNESCO-listed prehistoric sites and the landscapes of Périgord Noir. Its Tuesday market, shops, and tourist facilities make it a major attraction in the valley.

Food and Camaraderie

A refreshment stand is set up on-site, offering grilled items and homemade fries. Visitors and exhibitors can thus eat throughout the day in a festive and relaxed atmosphere, typical of the flea markets in Périgord.
