The Laroque-d'Olmes car boot sale was held on May 1st, 2025, in the town center. Private sellers and visitors gathered for this festive spring day from 9 am to 6 pm. Furniture, tableware, clothing, books, toys, and various objects enlivened the squares and streets of the former drapery town of Pays d'Olmes, in a friendly atmosphere characteristic of the May 1st car boot sales in Ariège.

Back on the May 1st, 2025 Car Boot Sale
On Thursday, May 1st, 2025, Laroque-d'Olmes hosted its annual car boot sale in the town center. Under the spring sun, exhibitors set up their stalls in the squares and streets to offer the contents of their attics to visitors who came in large numbers to enjoy this public holiday dedicated to treasure hunting. The festive atmosphere of May 1st gave the event the air of a popular festival appreciated by all.
The stalls offered a varied and charming jumble: antique furniture, mismatched tableware, novels and illustrated books, clothes of all kinds, vintage toys, and trinkets. The modest prices delighted bargain hunters from Lavelanet, Mirepoix, and the surrounding communes of Pays d'Olmes. The 2026 edition is already announced for May 1st.
