Car boot sale of La Fare-les-Oliviers

The year 2025 confirmed the success of the Car boot sale of La Fare-les-Oliviers, an unmissable Sunday event for bargain hunters from the Bouches-du-Rhône region. Every Sunday and public holiday, from 7 am to 4 pm, the discotheque car park at 1221 RN 113 came alive with stands from private sellers offering clothes, crockery, books, toys, trinkets, and various items.

Organized by the DECLIC association, this weekly car boot sale has retained a regular clientele thanks to its constant renewal of merchandise and its warm, typically Provençal atmosphere. Exhibitors, for €5 per linear meter or €15 with their car behind the stand, invested the car park aisles to offer visitors great deals at negotiable prices.

The refreshment stand and snack bar on site allowed bargain hunters to eat while enjoying the mild climate of the Bouches-du-Rhône. La Fare-les-Oliviers, a Provençal village nestled between Aix-en-Provence and Salon-de-Provence northeast of the Étang de Berre, offers a pleasant setting for this Sunday outing popular with families and bargain hunters. The car boot sale continues in 2026 with the same weekly format.
