The Jumelage Car Boot Sale, a major event in Ballan-Miré

The "Rencontres et Confluences" Jumelage Committee of Ballan-Miré organizes a large car boot sale every spring, which has become one of the major events in the commune. From 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., private sellers and flea market vendors offer clothes, toys, books, dishes, small furniture, tools, trinkets, and objects of all kinds. The profits from the event are donated to the committee to finance international exchanges and twinning activities.
