Car boot sale of the Jumelage Committee Rencontres et Confluences of Ballan-Miré
The car boot sale of the Ballan-Miré Jumelage Committee is a major spring event that brings together private sellers and flea market vendors in this green commune southwest of Tours Métropole. Organized by the "Rencontres et Confluences" committee, it contributes to the financing of international exchanges and twinning projects.
The "Rencontres et Confluences" Jumelage Committee of Ballan-Miré organizes a large car boot sale every spring, which has become one of the major events in the commune. From 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., private sellers and flea market vendors offer clothes, toys, books, dishes, small furniture, tools, trinkets, and objects of all kinds. The profits from the event are donated to the committee to finance international exchanges and twinning activities.
Ballan-Miré is a commune of 8,000 inhabitants located southwest of Tours, crossed by the Indre river and rich in natural spaces. The Ballan forest, the banks of the Indre, and the surrounding Touraine countryside offer an exceptional living environment. The commune is just a few minutes from the Renaissance jewels of the châteaux of Azay-le-Rideau and Villandry, and the AOC Touraine vineyards. The Jumelage car boot sale contributes to the vibrancy of this commune where culture and international solidarity go hand in hand.
The long format (6 a.m. to 7 p.m.) allows early birds to find the best deals and afternoon strollers to hunt at their own pace. Admission is free, with refreshments and food available on site.
The Ballan-Miré Jumelage car boot sale returns on Sunday, May 17, 2026. Free admission.
Ballan-Miré, southwest of Tours. Access via D751 or D7.
