The Houga basketball club has been organizing its annual car boot sale at the Allée des Sports for ten years. This 10th edition, scheduled for April 2026, confirms the success of this event which has become a spring classic in the north of Gers. With a maximum of 80 exhibitors, the event remains human-sized and friendly.

An indoor-outdoor format

The originality of the Basketball car boot sale lies in its dual indoor-outdoor format. Exhibitors can choose to set up outdoors, along the Allée des Sports, at a rate of €2 per meter, or indoors in the hall, at a rate of €3 per meter or €8 for a 2-meter table. This flexibility allows for bargain hunting regardless of the weather, with the most fragile items often presented indoors.

A thoughtful welcome

Exhibitors are welcomed from 6 am with a welcome coffee and help with unloading. This attention to welcome contributes to the loyalty of exhibitors who return year after year. On-site catering — sandwiches, fries, and crepes — is provided by the members of the basketball club, with profits funding sports activities.

Le Houga, a Gascon village

Le Houga (32460) is a village of about 1,100 inhabitants located in the north of Gers, between Nogaro and Aire-sur-l'Adour.
