Car boot sale of Gex town centre

The pedestrian streets of Gex were transformed into a vast flea market on May 4th and 11th, 2025, for the annual edition of the town centre car boot sale. Private sellers set up their stalls along the shopping streets and on the squares of the historic centre of this charming sub-prefecture of the Pays de Gex, creating an exceptional bargain hunting route on the doorstep of Geneva.

Visitors, both inhabitants of the Pays de Gex and cross-border workers in Switzerland, were able to rummage through a wide variety of items on offer: furniture, crockery, clothing, toys, books, trinkets, and various curiosities. The shops in the town centre, open during the event, contributed to the liveliness of these two spring Sundays dedicated to conviviality.

The Gex town centre car boot sale returns in 2026 for a new edition in this unique historic setting, at the foot of the Jura massif. Bargain hunters and town centre strollers are expected in large numbers to enjoy this unmissable spring event in the Pays de Gex.
