Summer car boot sale organized by the Foyer Rural de Frontenay in the Jura
Every summer, the small village of Frontenay hosts its annual car boot sale organized by the Foyer Rural. This friendly event brings together the villagers and bargain hunters from the surrounding area for a day of outdoor treasure hunting in the village streets.
Sellers, mainly individuals from the village and neighboring towns, offer clothes, toys, dishes, trinkets, books, small appliances, and a thousand and one other items they wish to part with. The pitch fee of €2 per linear meter encourages participation and guarantees a diverse offering.
Frontenay is a rural commune in the Jura region located between Lons-le-Saunier and Poligny, near the Jura vineyards. The Foyer Rural de Frontenay animates village life throughout the year. The car boot sale is one of the highlights of its events program. Refreshments and light snacks provided by volunteers complete this festive day.
