The spring car boot sale with flower and craft market in the bastide of Duras
Every spring, the village of Duras hosts a festive day combining car boot sales, flower market and crafts. Organized by Info Tourisme Duras, this event takes place throughout the village, at the foot of the medieval castle. This original combination of flea market finds, plants and artisanal creations attracts many visitors from the region and neighboring departments.
Duras also hosts the November 11 Fair (Saint-Martin), a major event with over 200 exhibitors offering antiques, flea market items, art crafts, jewelry, decoration and local products. This large annual fair is one of the most important in the Duras region.
On August 15, Duras also hosts a professional flea market under the market hall and in the village square, from 8 am to 6 pm.
Duras (47120) is a wine-producing commune in Lot-et-Garonne, on the border of Gironde, known for its AOC Côtes de Duras wines. Its medieval castle (12th-17th centuries) overlooks the village and offers an exceptional panorama of the Dropt river and the surrounding vineyards.
