Review of the 2025 edition - Squash Festival and Car boot sale
On Sunday, October 5, 2025, Saint-Vit hosted its Squash and Autumn Flavors Festival, featuring a lively and well-stocked private sellers' car boot sale. From 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., sellers - at €2 per linear meter - offered clothes, toys, books, dishes, and trinkets to the many visitors who came to enjoy this festive day.
Alongside the car boot sale, the local and artisanal products market delighted lovers of Comtois flavors: cheeses, cured meats, jams, honey, and of course, the essential squashes of all kinds - butternut, potimarron, spaghetti, Jack-o-Lantern - filled the stalls. Activities around cucurbits and fast food completed a festive and colorful program, typical of autumn in Franche-Comté.
