Car Boot Sale of the Drulhe Festival

The Car Boot Sale of the Drulhe Festival enlivened the municipal campsite Le Sol on Sunday, August 24, 2025, as part of the village festival and the "Drulhe en Fête" festival. Organized by the USPA (Union Sportive du Pays Alzuréen), this annual event attracted many bargain hunters from the Montbazens plateau, Villefranche-de-Rouergue, and all of northern Aveyron.

100 to 200 exhibitors, both individuals and professionals, had set up their stalls from 5:30 AM in the shaded area of the campsite, offering the usual mix of rural car boot sales: antique tableware, books and magazines, clothes for the whole family, toys, trinkets, garden tools, small furniture, and collectibles. The pitch fee of €1.50 per linear meter attracted a significant number of sellers, guaranteeing visitors a varied selection and finds at all prices.

The highlight of the day remained the midday aligot-saucisse meal, served under the shade of the campsite trees in the purest Aveyronnais tradition. The fouace, a brioche flavored with orange blossom typical of northern Aveyron, and coffee were offered to all visitors. This generosity, characteristic of village festivals in Rouergue, contributed to the warm atmosphere of this 2025 edition. Rides and entertainment for children, a refreshment bar, and free parking completed the offerings for this festive day in the heart of a village with rich Templar heritage.
