Every first Sunday in July, the Chevigny Saint Sauveur Football (CSSF) club organizes its annual car boot sale at 26 rue des Clématites in Chevigny-Saint-Sauveur. The event takes place in the shaded park adjacent to the club's sports facilities, offering a green and pleasant setting for a day of outdoor treasure hunting.
The car boot sale hosts between 100 and 200 private sellers who set up their stalls in the grassy, shaded area of the park. You can find a classic and varied assortment: clothes for the whole family, toys, books, crockery, trinkets, small furniture, decorative items, tools, and attic curiosities. The pitch is offered at 2 euros per linear meter with a minimum of 5 meters. The children's playground integrated into the site makes it a particularly family-friendly event.
Chevigny-Saint-Sauveur, a commune of about 11,000 inhabitants, is the third largest town in the Dijon metropolis in terms of population. Located east of Dijon, it is known for its numerous sports and cultural facilities and its particularly dense network of associations. The CSSF club, founded for recreational football, is one of the players in this rich associative life. Its summer car boot sale has become a popular event for residents and bargain hunters in the agglomeration.
CSSF volunteers ensure the complete organization of the day: welcoming exhibitors from 5 am, managing pitches, refreshment stands, and food service. A coffee is offered to exhibitors upon arrival, a welcoming gesture that sets the tone for this day of conviviality. Visitors can enjoy the shaded park and the playground while parents search the stalls for bargains.
The car boot sale is held from 8 am to 5 pm at the football club, 26 rue des Clématites in Chevigny-Saint-Sauveur. Entry is free for visitors. Exhibitors can set up from 5 am. Free parking, toilets, and food service are available on site. Contact: Adrien Cadouot at 06 67 37 20 33.
