Car boot sale of Couiza

The 2025 edition of the Couiza car boot sale confirmed its status as a must-attend event on the summer calendar of the Haute Vallée de l'Aude. Private exhibitors from Couiza and surrounding towns offered a fine selection of second-hand items to visitors, who came throughout the day to browse the stalls set up in the streets of the town center.

The exceptional setting of Couiza, with the elegant silhouette of the Château des Ducs de Joyeuse in the background and the waters of the Aude flowing nearby, contributed to the special atmosphere of this treasure hunting day. Families, collectors, and strollers took advantage of this opportunity to rummage through the stands and perhaps find the rare item they were looking for.

The next edition of the Couiza car boot sale is eagerly awaited in 2026. The Razès and its mysteries, between Rennes-le-Château and the Château de Couiza, will once again offer a unique setting for this friendly event.
