Looking Back at the 2025 Edition
On Sunday, September 28, 2025, Ferrières-en-Gâtinais hosted its end-of-summer car boot sale. In the golden atmosphere of a late September Sunday, Place Saint-Macé and Boulevard de la Brèche came alive for this autumn treasure hunting day organized by the Comité des Fêtes.
From 4 am, the first exhibitors took their positions in order of arrival, with no prior reservation. The usual variety of clothing, crockery, books, trinkets, and furniture made up the offerings for the day. The medieval setting of Ferrières – with the abbey church and its Romanesque towers in the background – gives the event a unique atmosphere that no other car boot sale in the department can replicate.
Free entry and generous hours (6 am-7 pm) allowed many visitors to fully enjoy the day. The Comité des Fêtes announces a new edition for the last Sunday of September 2026.
