Summer car boot sale of the Comité des Fêtes de Pinet, village of Picpoul de Pinet
Every summer, the Comité des Fêtes de Pinet organizes its car boot sale in the heart of this renowned wine village. Exhibitors offer clothes, toys, books, tableware, trinkets, small furniture, and various items at attractive prices. The summer atmosphere, the Languedoc warmth, and the friendliness of the inhabitants make this day a popular event for treasure hunters from the Hérault coast.
Pinet (34850) is a village of about 1,500 inhabitants located between l'étang de Thau and Pézenas. The commune is world-famous for its Picpoul de Pinet, a dry and crisp white wine made from the piquepoul grape variety, which perfectly accompanies oysters from the Thau basin. Vineyards stretch as far as the eye can see, forming a typically Mediterranean landscape. The village retains charming heritage with its church and its winegrower houses.
The Pinet car boot sale is an opportunity to combine treasure hunting and wine discovery. After browsing the stalls, visitors can visit the cooperative cellars and wine estates to taste the famous Picpoul de Pinet. The Comité des Fêtes' refreshment stand offers cold drinks and light snacks. Entry is free.
