The Chichilianne car boot sale: treasure hunting at the foot of Mont Aiguille

Every summer in early August, the village of Chichilianne hosts its annual car boot sale in a breathtaking setting. Dominated by the majestic silhouette of Mont Aiguille, one of the most emblematic peaks of the Vercors, this small mountain event offers a unique treasure hunting experience in Isère.

80 exhibitors and a producers' market

The Comité des Fêtes of Chichilianne organizes this car boot sale which brings together around 80 exhibitors, mainly individuals offering various items: trinkets, crockery, toys, books, clothes, and little attic treasures. In addition, a market of local producers and artisans allows visitors to discover the flavors and know-how of the Trièves region: cheeses, honey, jams, wood crafts, and local creations.

Chichilianne, jewel of the Trièves

Chichilianne is a small village in the Trièves, a mountain territory located south of Grenoble between Vercors and Dévoluy. This high-altitude village is famous for its stunning views of Mont Aiguille (2087m), a natural monument classified among the Seven Wonders of the Dauphiné. In summer, Chichilianne is a popular starting point for hikes in the Vercors and the Dévoluy massif.

The allée de la Mairie, the heart of the village, offers an intimate and green setting for this summer car boot sale. The atmosphere is that of a mountain village: friendly, relaxed, authentic. The refreshment stand and fast food offered by the Comité des Fêtes allow visitors to extend the pleasure of this high-altitude treasure hunting day.
