Car Boot Sale of Champagnac-le-Vieux — June 2025
The Church Square of Champagnac-le-Vieux hosted its annual car boot sale at the end of June 2025, in the mildness of a early summer Sunday. From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., exhibitors registered in advance offered their items in their carefully assigned pitches at €2 per linear meter.
Visitors could hunt for treasures in peace in this village in the Allier valley, among antique furniture, tableware, clothing, books, and multiple curiosities. The refreshment stand set up by the organizers allowed everyone to cool down and take a break between finds. The village's Romanesque church, an impassive silhouette in the background of the stalls, reminded visitors of the rich heritage of this commune in Haute-Loire.
