Each summer in July, the Place du Marché in Caumont-sur-Aure hosts a car boot sale bringing together around 80 exhibitors. This summer event attracts bargain hunters and strollers to this typical village in the Calvados Pré-Bocage.

Caumont-sur-Aure (formerly Caumont-l'Éventé) is a commune in Calvados located at the crossroads of the Bessin and the Norman bocage, between Bayeux and Villers-Bocage. This hilly area, crossed by the Aure river, is known for its hedgerow landscapes, its meadows, and its traditional farms. The Place du Marché, in the center of the village, is the natural meeting place for residents and visitors.

An outdoor car boot sale
